Lady Achtyrskaja (of Akhtyrka), the seated Virgin holding the crucifix and wearing a green tunic with red maphorion, tempera and remnants of gilding on panel with tooled halo and incised folds and outlines, 16-1/2 x 12-5/8 in.

Condition:

panel shaved with new cradle, evidence of pest damage, some crackle and cupping, white ground exposed in some areas with loss to gilding, various periods, retouch
