British, early 19th century, four line verse sampler with floral bouquet flanked but lions and squirrels, signed "Mary Wernham her Work 1818"; six line verse with cherubs flanking crown, signed "Sarah Wernham her Work 1827", both with strawberry vine border, silk on linen, later painted wood frames, 10-1/4 x 7-1/2 in., (sight)
