probably Continental, 19th/20th century, black painted metal, spread wing eagles on rocky outcropping bases, leaf form candle cups, 9 in.; spread wing eagles, flared square bases, marked "K" on underside interiors, leaf form candle cups, 6-3/4 in.

Provenance:Property from the Collection of the Late Parker B. Poe, Thomasville, Georgia, now the Property of the Thomasville Center for the Arts

Condition:

scattered surface scratches, surface dirt layer, minor areas of paint loss, visible casting lines; larger pair with later felt covering to bases
