Three Pairs of Georgian Brass Candlesticks

British, 18th century, pair with elongated socket on a baluster turned shaft on a petal form base, 7-1/2 x 4-1/4 in.; pair with shaped sockets on a faceted baluster form shaft on a hexagonal base, 6-3/4 x 4-1/4 in.; pair with elongated socket on a baluster form shaft with pronounced top knop, on a faceted swirl base, 8-5/8 x 4-7/8 in.

Condition:

all pairs with visible seams (as made); petal base pair: each with faint brazed spot at lower shaft (possibly as made), one with casting flaw and tiny crack under socket, one with faint brazed spot under socket; hexagonal base pair: one with large loss to socket (probably a casting flaw as made), one with faint crack to socket rim; faceted base pair: one with crack under socket and large splits along seams, both with possibly associated bases (color variation); other possible repairs, small scratches, dents, verdigris and wax residue, and minor flaws (as made)
