Ship Model of the HMS Victory

Stephens and Kenau, South Africa, 20th century, fine quality, 1.96 model scale, fine handcrafted with various woods, sheathed copper hull and bronze ornamentation, fully rigged with unfurled linen sails, rectangular platform base, name plate with "HMS Victory 1805" and metal plate on stand, "This model was built by:/ Stephens & Kenau/ Mossel Bay/ South Africa/ Reg. No: 0548" 29 x 41-1/2 in.

Note: The H.M.S. Victory is a 104-gun first-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, lodged in 1765, and is best known as Lord Nelson's flag ship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805; see stephensandkenau.com for more specific information.
