Regency Tortoise Shell Inlaid Tea Caddy

British, two compartment swell-front tortoise shell tea caddy, pagoda-style, inlaid English silver on lid edges, finely inlaid mother-of-pearl design, skirted, carved initials "JMC" onto silver cartouche, four metal feet, velvet lined lid, two tortoiseshell veneered lids with ivory bead pulls, ivory interior detail and lid pulls, traces of the original paktong (not foil), 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 in.
