British, early 18th century, figure of hunter and his two dogs in pursuit of a hare, manor house upper right, oak tree with red squirrel and raven on left, worked in colored silk tent stitch except for squirrel worked in wool, 11-3/8 x 9-1/4 in.; painted composition frame, 13-1/2 x 11-1/2 in.

Condition:

mounted to later linen backing and attached to linen covered board, some stitch loss in hunter's hat and spotted dog, minor fading
