Miller/PATENT MAY 23, 1866/MERIDEN MAN'FG CO./MERIDEN,CONN.", firing mechanism appears to work, barrel bands marked "U", iron ramrod, butt tang marked "US"

missing a barrel band spring and one is frozen, apparent restorations left side below breech, trigger guard and forward of lock plate, also crack at front of lock plate, barrel with dark brown/grey patina, wood with scratches, marring, gouges, ramrod may be a replacement
