Stoney Bluff Manufactory, Horse Creek Valley, Edgefield District, South Carolina, mid 19th century, small storage jar with brownish alkaline glaze, two slash marks at shoulder, two ridges to shoulder between applied lug handles, ridged neck, flared rim, lid shelf, 10-1/4 in.; small jug form, runny green alkaline glaze, two inscribed "X" marks to shoulder, two ridges at shoulder, flared rim, 9-1/2 in.
