Italian Louis XV Style Gilt Marble Top Pier Table
Continental, late 19th century, variegated rouge marble top, carved and gilt frame with pierced skirts and shell carved cross stretchers, 37-1/2 x 56 (at widest point of frame) x 18-1/2 in.
Note: Accompanied by copy of appraisal from Rothschild's Antiques, New Orleans, Louisiana dated 1988 stating a replacement value of $5,000.

Condition:
good overall with scattered minor gilding wear and some small chips, minor shrinkage cracks and other surface flaws, marble top in good condition with typical inclusions, some minor roughness at back edges and corners
