Continental, late 19th/20th century, deeply carved oak case, silvered dial with Roman numerals and engraved brass plaque of owl and hourglass, works marked "GB/Silesia" crown and anchor stamp and numbered "P42", 50-1/2 x 15-1/2 in.

small loss to top of crest, top and lower right finials off but present, some minor separations and abrasions
