late 19th/early 20th century, floral scrollwork and beads in shallow relief, hinged top with pink enameling, ivory panel painting depicting courtship scene, signed "H. Du(?)pit", interior silk lining, stamped "France" on underside, with key, 3-1/2 x 9 x 6-1/2 in.
