probably Meiji period, vase with alternating banners depicting mythical birds and flowers on blue enamel ground; two vases with flowers and insects, ginbari and goldstone highlights; vase with flowers and insects, bright green ginbari highlights, black enamel ground; largest 12 in.

Provenance:Estate of Judge and Mrs. Charles Neese, Greeneville, Tennessee; By Descent to Dr. Rhonda Davis Poirier, New York, New York and Jacksonville, Florida

Condition:

some enamel loss, scattered cracks and hairlines, some glaze voids to vase interiors, pinholes, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use
