Four Blue and White and Famille Rose Bottles

Qing dynasty, porcelain ovoid form with lid, blue and white depictions of bamboo trees, apocryphal underglaze blue Yongzheng mark to base, 2-1/8 in.; porcelain ovoid form with blue and white depictions of a dragon, 3 in.; porcelain compressed form with blue and white depictions of seated figures, 2-1/4 in.; porcelain famille rose bottle, immortals in relief, 2-3/8 in.

Note: Objects from this personal collection were acquired in Shanghai, China between the years 1862-1902. They were collected by Frederick and Margaret Haskell. Mr. Haskell was the owner of the Japan and China Trading Company. The couple retired to Lake Weir Florida in 1902, bringing these collected objects with them to the United States and they descended through the family to current day. These objects are now being offered to the public for the first time by Brunk Auctions.
