Fine Tennessee Federal Cherry Sideboard

possibly middle Tennessee, 1810-1825, seven dovetailed drawers with probably original brass pulls and four doors, highly figured veneers, dovetailed construction with poplar secondary, on turned legs, 43 x 76-3/4 x 24 in.

very good condition overall, drawers probably with original brasses (driven through, not removed), cracks, stains, and wear throughout, wear and distress to brasses, doors formerly fitted with brasses now removed, typical veneer cracks and distress, especially to doors, break and repair at one rear leg, some drawers with nailed construction at back (as made), some veneer flaws with areas of infill, other distress
