Etruscan Bronze Olpe with Gorgoneion Mask

possibly 5th century B.C., short pear form vessel with green patina, beaded overhanging rim with ovolo kymation decoration, high arching strap handle riveted under the rim, handle terminal with mask of gorgoneion, 9 x 7 in.

Note: This lot will be accompanied by a letter from the consignor confirming the provenance from Mathias Komor, purchased in the early 1960s.
