French, Paris, circa 1880-1905, brass case with beveled glass panels and embellished with rhinestones on handle and front and top panels, porcelain dial with painted Arabic numbers and floral garland, finely painted cherubs below dial and doves in upper corners on enameled emerald green ground, movement stamped "ETIENNE MAXANT/BREVETE/4 R DE SAINTONGE PARIS", two labels on bottom indicating repair work, with handle down 6-1/2 in.; with leather case with retail ribbon for "Shreve Crump & Low Co./Boston Mass", 7-1/4 in.
