Eight Queen Anne Style Walnut Dining Chairs

British or Continental, 18th century and later, comprising two armchairs and six side chairs, each in figured walnut veneers with upholstered slip seats, cabriole legs, two side chairs are period, the rest are later in date made to match, 40-1/2 in. (overall height), 19-1/2 in. (seat height)

two period side chairs are generally good, one with patch at front toe, one with later rear seat blocking, one with veneer chips to skirt, scattered pest damage; other chairs appear to be well crafted copies that are likely late 19th or 20th century, with later staining and induced distress to secondary surfaces typical scattered veneer and surface flaws, chairs are structurally sound, plaid upholstery is generally good with very minor wear and stains
