American, 19th century, 7-3/4 in. octagonal barrel, brass trigger guard, raised sight, backstrap, .38 caliber rimfire, loading lever, walnut grips, serial number "17215" on barrel and on lever, top of barrel reads "E. Whitney, N. Haven", "B" stamped on barrel, lock plate, trigger guard and cylinder

Condition:
pitting, patina, denting and scratching to metal throughout, trigger guard with grooves near screw, trigger guard loose, wood grips with marring and some loss at butt
