Corinthian Pottery Black-Figure Aryballos

possibly 6th century B.C., spherical terracotta flask, forepart decorated with two combative lions between two birds and a snake, with rosettes throughout, faint remnants of red, 4-1/2 x 4 in.

Note: This lot will be accompanied by a letter from the consignor confirming the provenance from Mathias Komor, purchased in the early 1960s.
