Classical Eagle Gilt Wood Convex Mirror

British, early 19th century, perched eagle on pedestal, foliate pendant, stamped verso "G. Nightingale/Carver and Gilder/143 Leadenhall Street" for George Nightingale, (London, working, 1802-1835), also label for "Bernard & S. Dean Levy" New York, 28-1/2 x 13 in.

Condition:

mirror plate probably replaced, several shrinkage cracks in mirror frame, repair to one leaf on pediment, scattered losses to gilt, eagle finial reattached and later paint at back, (possibly associated or restored)
