Chinese White Glazed 18th Century Vase
Qianlong period, round slightly flared footed vase tapering to a bulbous shoulder, wide short neck, impressed and incised decoration on body of palm leaf border at base, floral and foliate scrolling decoration on body with a ruyi border at shoulder and at rim, inventory label reads "FC 1240", 5 in.
Note: Accompanying item is the consignor's receipt of purchase from CT Loo, dated 1959. This reads in part, "Ch'ien Lung: 1735-1795/Inventory #FC-1240/Price $70" The piece states that the vase and stand measure 8 ins., so it is believed that this is not the original wooden stand that came with the piece, since it has a different inventory number.
