Qing dynasty, horizontal banner of a frontal and multiple rampant dragons chasing flaming pearls, on yellow silk, later gold velvet borders and blue fabric backing, 28 x 13-1/2 in.; lot accompanied with copy of 1987 receipt from Vallin Galleries, Wilton, Connecticut that reads "Chinese Imperial yellow fabric with rampant dragons, 18th C. or earlier" and indicates a price of 1200
