British, late 17th century, Cavalier and Lady, flanking castle in center, lion and stag in lower corners, green parrot, kingfisher, flowers and other animal motifs throughout, silk covered faces, polychrome glass beads with white bead ground, on linen, 9-1/4 x 15 in.; painted wood frame, 12 x 17-1/4 in.
