A pair of fox hunting scenes: Clearing a Gate, 15-3/8 x 24 in.; Catching the Scent, 14-1/2 x 23-1/8 in., one unsigned, one signed indistinctly lower left, oil on canvas; matching 19th century lemon gilt wood frames, old label verso for Max Williams, Madison Ave., New York, verso, largest 17-5/8 x 26-1/4 in.

Note: Labels verso indicate the paintings may have come from the collection of Marshall Orme Exnicios and Mrs. Elinor Wheeler Exnicios of Warrenton, Virginia. Marshall Orme Exnicios was a Master of the Fox Hounds at The Potomac Hunt Club in Maryland.
