A Very Fine Southern Federal Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard

Baltimore, attributed to the firm of Bankson and Lawson, circa 1785-1792, highly figured mahogany, dovetailed drawers and one cabinet door with false double front, finely inlaid legs and spade feet, 37-1/2 x 67-1/4 x 23-3/4 in.

Condition:

good condition overall, brasses replaced, sides of top with several small plugged holes (likely once fitter with later side galleries, now removed), cabinet door original (no evidence of retrofitting from drawers), other typical minor repairs and veneer flaws
