Patent of Nobility for Constantini Divano, given the title of "Georg Divan de Pade"on March 20, 1850, signed "Franciscus" by Franz Joseph I, Emperor of Austria (1830-1916), counter-signed by two witnesses and Baron Alexander von Bach, Minister of the Interior, nine drawn, hand-calligraphed and illuminated vellum sheets, 8 double-sided, within a red velvet, embossed bound portfolio with the Austro-Hungarian double-headed eagle crest, ribbon ties and attached, engraved and gilt bronze seal box with cord and with two metal thread tassels; portfolio, 15 x 11-1/2 in.; seal box, 4-3/4 in. dia.
